Ladies and Gentlemen
Here is the story about people who, through their presence in my life, had subtly changed its course, which eventually led me to the very place I am in today.
Since I was six, I have been lucky enough to meet brilliant teachers; each and every one of them was an unparalleled inspiration and taught me to see the act of performing music as a true miracle.
The crucial episodes of my education were courses with proffesor K. Jurecka in Gdansk, Poland, and proffesor W. Gradova in Mannheim, Germany. The adventure I treasure the most in my memory is the years when I collaborated with the UBS Verbier Festival in Switzerland. It was there that I had the chance to meet and work with such talented artists as James Levine, Valeri Gergiev, Kurt Masur, Yuri Temirkanov, Paavo Järvi, Michael Tilson Thomas, Mischa Maisky, Evgeny Kissin, Joshua Bell, Mstislaw Rostropovich, Renaud Capuçon, Leonidas Kavakos, Yuri Bashmet, Ilya Gringolts, Vadim Repin, Martha Argerich, Lang Lang, Thomas Quasthoff, Emanuel Ax and many others; their personalities, as well as their knowledge and artistry had a strong influence on the way I feel the music and the things I seek in it. My collaboration with the outsanding soloist Maxim Vengerov resulted in us performing together in the biggest music halls within and outside Europe. During numerous international tours I was a part of the UBS Verbier Chamber Orchestra together with artists from all over the world; many of them are now soloists and concertmasters of world’s most renowned orchestras. These events were commemorated in the form of a CD published by EMI, comprised of W. A. Mozart’s violin concertos. For me, however, the most precious reward is my friendship with Maxim Vengerov, which lasts to this day. Verbier was also the place where I met one of the most talented violinists in the world: Roby Lakatos. He has been my concerting partner ever since. He also had agreed to record a piece for my album (V. Monti’s “Czardas”), for which I am eternally grateful.
Some interesting episodes of my life were a year-long collaboration with the Rundfunkorchester Kaiserslautern in Germany, where I was recording for the SWR2 radio station, and the following collaboration with the recognised Polish orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia.
Presently I am delighted to play at recitals and perform as a soloist with orchestras such as: Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Sopot, Polish Baltic Philharmonic, Concerto Avenna, Sinfonia Viva, Podkarpacka Phillarmonic in Rzeszow, Sinfonia Iuventus, The Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic, The Elblag Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonia Viva in Warsaw.
I believe that no message has a stronger impact than the one delivered by a united group of talented friends. That is why along with Sebastian Wypych we have founded The New Art Ensemble – a group of brilliant Polish artists united by music and friendship. The New Art Ensemble has already performed in almost every concert hall in Poland. It has also participated in the most prominent festivals in Poland and abroad.
In 2016 I released my first album "Violin SOUL", featuring extraordinary Artists and one special Guest – Roby Lakatos. The album was produced by my Masters and Friends: Tadeusz Mieczkowski and Klementyna Walczyna.
Alongside my admiration for the thrill of performing, I am passionate about pedagogy. The sense of joint creation and bringing out hidden qualities of violinists is the most fascinating and captivating experience. I find working with students of the Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk one of the most exciting and thought-provoking adventures in my life. I am also very happy to be a teacher at the Karol Szymanowski State Music School Complex in Warsaw, where I train middle school and high school students. During the school year I give lectures at workshops in music schools all over Poland. In the summer, apart from sailing, I teach summer courses to students in numerous Polish cities.
I am more than lucky to meet kind-hearted, positive and passionate people along the way, starting from my dear Parents, who have always been and will always be my support, through my wonderful Husband, close Family, Friends and Acquaintances and all the People who keep track of my professional career.
Thank you for being there for me.
